Accessibility Devices

Hallett Cinemas is committed to providing the best moviegoing experience for all our Guests. We offer devices that help aid with hearing and visual impairments. Devices may be obtained for use at the Snack Bar.

Here is a brief overview of each device:

 

Listening Devices:

• Assistive Listening: Provides amplified audio for the film (available on ALL movies)
• Audio Description: Provides descriptive audio of the action happening on-screen (available for MOST films)
• Includes a 1/8" monoaural audio jack for a direct connection to a hearing aid  
• Separate volume adjustment for each ear

 

Closed Caption:

• Device displays the spoken dialog from the film (available on MOST films)
• Fits in cupholder and can be adjusted for optimal viewing angle


Please note:

• The Pre-show and the Previews for upcoming movies do not typically have Closed-Captioning or Descriptive Audio
• These devices receive a line-of-sight signal from the back of the theater. They may not work if the receiver is blocked or you are sitting in the back row
